Tatiana TUGUI, Dr. has three decades of experience in the environment, climate change, waste and chemical sectors.  In addition to acting as Environmental Pollution Prevention Office Manager, she has 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in project management, providing environmental planning and management, policy and program development, and institutional capacity assessment and capacity building services. This gives her additional expertise in legal development and compliance, public and private sector interactions on legal framework enforcement of the 15 national legal and policy documents (Waste Management Strategy and Chemicals Program), (Waste Law, Chemicals Law, Manama ratification Law), 12 secondary legislations (WEEE, PRTR, waste evidence, packaging, waste shipment, PIC regulation, three technical concepts for IT systems).
Tatiana has in-depth experience with setting up structured approaches as member and co-chair of subsidiaries bodies of MEAs such as the Chemical Review Committee, under Rotterdam Convention (2014-2017), the Implementation Compliance Committee, under Basel Convention (2015-2018), the Quick Start Programme Executive Board (2013-2020) for SAICM.  She maintains a strong network among CEE region representatives, implementing more than 10 regional and international projects. She belief that environmental-oriented business thinking is one of the keys to future sustainability of the country with economy in transition.
