Keir McAndrew started his career in Scotland working for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency on industrial pollution control before joining the European Commission in 2007 as part of the drafting, negotiation and implementation team for the industrial emissions Directive.  Keir subsequently worked on the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution and associated Gothenburg and Heavy Metals Protocols as well as the Minamata Convention on mercury.   Since joining Wood in 2015 Keir has directed a number of projects for clients such as the World Bank, UNEP and the European Commission across a broad range of topics including industrial decarbonisation, monitoring reporting and verification, waste shipment, fuel quality, water and flood management, urban waste water treatment, methane emissions and radioactive sources.  Keir also manages Wood’s office in Brussels.
