Moderator and Journalist
Aminda Leigh

I am an Italian-British moderator and journalist specialising in environmental topics, above all. Indeed, I am passionate about my role facilitating event speakers and participants to share knowledge, best practices and smart solutions to build a sustainable future for us and our planet.
After working at various BBC radio and TV channels in the UK, I moved to Italy and founded AMROS Media Solutions, offering journalism, moderation and translation services for European and international institutional and private clients.
I have had the honour to moderate discussions at EU Green Week for more than a decade, seeing first-hand the progress being made to protect our environment.
My other professional experience as a moderator and master of ceremonies spans high-profile European events such as EU Bioeconomy Week, the EU Agriculture Outlook conference, the High Level Conference on EU Chemicals Policy 2030 and the Eighth Forest Europe Ministerial Conference.
Moreover, I have chaired sessions at global gatherings like the World EXPO in Milan, the COP23 climate talks in Bonn and the European Forum for Disaster Risk Reduction organised by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction.
In June 2020, I was the Digital Event Director for the European Commission’s first fully virtual EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW).
As a journalist, I have made award-winning digital content on topics including climate change, the gender pay gap and the Common Agricultural Policy.
