Side session - EU Ecolabel - Highlighting contribution to green jobs creation in the context of the 25th anniversary

Side session - EU Ecolabel - Highlighting contribution to green jobs creation in the context of the 25th anniversary

This event is oversubscribed. The side event is primarily aimed at companies (current and potential EU Ecolabel licence holders) and these will be given priority. For others, access to the side event will be on a first come first served basis, with chairs reserved for invitees only.

The EU Ecolabel is celebrating its 25th anniversary by highlighting its success stories. The EU Ecolabel not only helps consumers identify products and service with reduced environmental impact, but it leads also to business development and green job creation. 2000 companies hold an EU Ecolabel licence for about 40,000 products and services under 30 product groups, from detergents, textile to tourist accommodation. Presented success stories will highlight that concern for environment goes hand in hand with growth and jobs creation. This side event will be connected to events taking place in several Member States simultaneously.
