Closing session: Scaling Up Change for the Cities of Tomorrow

Green Week invariably reveals a wealth of local successes, replicable models with the potential to change our world for the better, bringing cleaner air, smarter water use, integrated systems for transport and waste disposal. Many of Europe’s cities have become beacons for change, but others are still lagging behind. As the Brussels conference draws to a close, one outstanding question remains: how can these limited national successes be transformed into a broader international movement, delivering ambitious changes on the scale that our future demands?
