3.4 Operation Sustainability. The city greening game. Part 1

In collaboration with the Joint Research Centre, European Commission

The aim of Operation Sustainability is not to play a game and win – it is to promote a constructive conversation among key city actors, and to promote integrated long-term thinking in a spirit of collaboration in the context of sustainable urban planning. The different roles of the players in the game have been chosen to represent those whose interactions are critical in terms of long-term city development and planning form the Mayor, to the citizens themselves.

Come and play the game and experience how your city will develop over the next 20 years, and how it will tackle the many challenges that lie ahead.

This will be a 3-hour hands-on participatory session in which participants will have the opportunity to reflect together on future challenges and opportunities around urban sustainability in a positive atmosphere. Together, we will engage in 'Operation Sustainability' and explore how different city stakeholders can chart a course towards a sustainable future using scenarios. Participants will be able to choose the specific issues they want to reflect on. We count on them until the end!
