How to get to the venue


Check the STIB website for details of all public transport routes:

On foot

BluePoint Brussels is a 5-minute walk from the Diamant tram stop. As there are extensive roadworks, please follow the signs for EU Green Week:

By train

If you arrive at Gare du Nord/Brussel Noord, take tram 25 and get off at Diamant tram stop.

If you arrive at Gare Central/Brussel Centraal, take the 29 bus to the Diamant tram stop.

If you arrive at Gare du Midi/Brussel Zuid, take either tram 4 to Rogier, and then tram 29 to Diamant, or take the 27 bus to stop Montgomery and then a 25 or a 7 tram to Diamant.

As there are extensive roadworks, please follow the signs for EU Green Week from the bus stop/tram stop.

By bus

Bus 79 goes from Rond-Point Schuman; get off at Diamant.

Bus 21 starts from Place Luxembourg (also stops at Rond-Point Schuman); get off at Diamant.

Bus 29 goes from the Gare Central; get off at Diamant.

Follow the signs for EU Green Week from the bus stop.

Directions to BluePoint for participants arriving at Brussels Airport:

Bus 12 to and from Brussels Airport also stops at Diamant. After 20.00 in the evening, the bus to the airport is number 21. Please follow the signs for EU Green Week from the bus stop.

By car

There are extensive roadworks going on outside the BluePoint and, although there is underground parking at the conference centre, it is not recommended to drive there unless you are familiar with the area.

Wireless internet access will be available to participants free of charge throughout the venue.


The main sessions of the programme will be broadcast on the website via live web-streaming.


During the conference the Commission's interpretation services (SCIC) will provide simultaneous interpretation in English, French and German in the two main meeting rooms. In the third meeting room, there will only be interpretation to and from French and English, with passive interpretation in all three main languages. There will not be interpretation in the fourth meeting room; this room will be used for the World Café-style sessions.
