In 2014, the international project Seabin (https://seabinproject.com/) was launched. It is a device equipped with a pump that independently catches rubbish and pollution, including microplastic, that has entered the seawater. Currently, 860 marine litter traps are installed worldwide. This year, Tallinn is installing Seabin for the second time and organizing environmental education activities for children. The 2021 season begins on May 3 and lasts until the beginning of October.
