Session 4.3

Unlocking finance for biodiversity

The objective of the session is to explore solutions for biodiversity financing with a view to supporting implementation of the new Biodiversity Strategy and the future Nature Restoration Plan, as well as upscaling biodiversity investments from both public and private sources. The session will look into smart ways of using and combining EU funds and programmes under the next Multiannual Financial Framework and tools to leverage private sector investments, such as InvestEU and the future 10 billion EUR investment initiative on natural capital and circular economy.
