Session 1.2

How the Natura 2000 network is making a difference - ingredients for successful conservation

As the delivery of the “EU action plan on nature, people and the economy” is nearing completion, join our session to find out what works best in order to improve the conservation status of our protected species and habitats. The session will present real life targeted conservation actions across the EU that triggered a recovery of species and habitats, especially in Natura 2000 protected areas. It will put the spotlight on the common elements that underpin successes and discuss how to “up-scale” them.
