Session 2.4

Evaluation of the 7th EAP-building on lessons learnt to create our future environment policy

The session at Green Week will present lessons learnt from the evaluation of 7th Environment Action Programme (EAP) and identify Europe’s key sustainability and environmental challenges in 2019. Based on this stocktaking, and in the context of the SDGs and Agenda 2030, the discussion will centre on what a future EU environment policy post-2020 could focus on. The session will look into what key actions will be needed to translate the 2050 vision of the 7th EAP into reality in the coming years. Two inspirational speeches will frame a World Café Discussion allowing the audience to discuss interactively and put together a short list of top actions for future EU environment policy-making.
