How to get to the venue

The main station closest to The Square is the Gare Centrale located 2 minutes’ walk
from the venue


Public transport

From the main train stations (check the direction of the trams/metros):

From the Gare du Nord/Brussel Noord:

  • take one of the following metro lines: S2 (direction Elisabeth)or/ S6 (direction
    Elisabeth) to the stop Arts-Loi and then change to the metro lines 1 (direction
    Gare de l’Ouest) or 5 (direction Erasme) to the Gare Centrale and walk 2
    minutes to the Square
  • Take either metro line 3 (direction Esplanade) or 4 (direction Gare du Nord) to
    the stop Bourse and then walk 10 minutes to The Square

From the Gare du Midi/Brussel Zuid, you can take the same metro lines to the same stops but in the opposite directions.

From the European institutions (Schuman)

Metro line 1 (Direction Gare de l’Ouest) – 10 minutes, get off at the Gare Centrale

Metro line 5 (Direction Erasme) – 10 minutes, get off at the Gare Centrale

From and to Brussels Airport:

You can take the inter-city train directly to the Gare Centrale or you can take bus no.
12 to Schuman and change to metro lines 1 (direction Gare de l’Ouest) or 5
(direction Erasme) to the Gare Centrale.

By car

There are two public car parks with over 1700 parking spaces. Parking Albertine is
the closest car park and is situated underneath SQUARE with direct access to the
venue from the inside. Both car parks are accessible 24H and both have recharging
facilities for electric cars. 





Wireless internet access will be available to participants free of charge throughout
the venue.

Web-streaming / Hybrid event

Due to the sanitary crisis, the event will be available online in a new virtual
experience: the exhibition areas are accessible in 3D format, a virtual networking
lounge will be available for the registered participants and the sessions taking place
in four parallel rooms will be live streamed.

During the conference, the Commission's interpretation services (SCIC) will provide
simultaneous interpretation in English and French in the main meeting room (Copper
Hall). There will not be interpretation in any of the remaining meeting rooms.
