Rokavice gor! campaign – tiger mosquito spread control project

Since 2017 the City of Ljubljana has been carrying out the socially responsible campaign Rokavice gor, in which we educate the citizens about tiger mosquito, invasive alien species that has spread to all urban areas. In special events we invite the citizens to clean their gardens and balconies and bring us unused pots from ceramics, plastic and metal, and we reward them for their efforts with herbs which repel mosquitoes and quality compost produced by the Regional Waste Management Centre Ljubljana made out of separately collected biological waste.
