Perspektiven & Herausforderungen in der Bioökonomie - Aus der Vielzahl ein gemeinsames Verständnis erzeugen

Environmental pressures and limited availability of resources have prompted the EU to focus on transitioning towards a circular bioeconomy, as described in the 2018 EU Bioeconomy Strategy.  In Germany, this has led to an increased awareness of Bio-Based Products (BBP). However, bioeconomy shares in gross value added and employment remain low due to market- and regulatory constraints. The event will outline a common understanding of these constraints and derive (project) ideas and policy recommendations that address these barriers, by engaging a plurality of stakeholders.

The event is co-organised by the H2020 projects BioVoices, Bloom and Biobridges. The event will take place in German.
