Cultural organization Mikser together with UNDP Serbia organizes a three day festival with the topic of circular economy and sustainable development at the center. Calling for all hands on deck, the festival brings together designers, IT experts, urban planners, ecologists, innovative companies, government representatives, as well as citizens and civil society organizations to start a dialogue and find common ground in developing a new model for a more altruistic and sensible future.
Under the title “Circulate”, Mikser Festival will introduce more than 1000 participants, a strong b2b platform, a conference dedicated to sustainable development and the concept of circular economy, an exhibition of Young Balkan designers, an eco-bazaar and a gastro market dedicated to the topic of food distribution to vulnerable groups. One of the highlights of the festival, SHIFT conference, engages different stakeholders in mapping the challenges and solutions for Serbia’s most productive industries that will become the pillars of its circular economy roadmap. Through thematic panel discussions, knowledge exchange with leading European experts, and a design thinking workshop “Circulaton”, the conference will result in a draft document that will become the cornerstone of Serbia’s strategy for circular economy and sustainable development.
