From Environmental Implementation to Action - Perspectives & Our Shared Responsibilities

The implementation of environmental legislation at EU-level should engage citizens and stakeholders from all backgrounds. The achievement of the goals requires contributions at all levels and must involve all relevant actors in society such as NGOs, social partners, local governments, businesses and civil society. Faced with a climate crisis as well as a severe loss of biodiversity, polluted air and threats from hazardous chemicals, environmental protection and climate action must be a priority.  Our event gives a voice to civil society, NGOs, trade unions, progressive business and regional and local authorities - and allows them to present their goals and ambitions in the context of sustainable development goals. Participants can directly engage with lead actors of both the public and private sector to put forward concrete ways of how best to prioritise environmental protection and lead the way.
