Biodiversity and woody biomass: The benefits of a bio-based economy to biodiversity and sustainable forest management

The event aims to provide different geographical perspectives (from Europe and the United States) on how sustainable forest management helps to grow biodiversity and strengthen the resilience of healthy forests. The panel debate will discuss how current and future practices of sustainable forest management are an essential aspect of reaching the objectives of the European Green Deal and the EU’s new Biodiversity Strategy.
