Anti-smog res(v)olution!

The last social awareness research in Małopolska Region shows that residents mostly know that there is such a thing as anti-smog resolution (which introduces in Krakow a ban on burning solid fuels, and in Małopolska the use of stoves which meet requirements of Ecodesign), but do not know its provisions in detail. As part of Green Week 2019, the European Union pays attention not only to the adoption of a new law, but above all to its proper implementation. Responding to the needs of the local community and inscribing to the theme of this year's Green Week, every Ecomanager employed under the project "Implementation of Air Quality Plan for the Małopolska Region - Małopolska in a healthy atmosphere" will organize a meeting in its municipalities informing what residents should know about the anti-smog resolutions. The meetings will be addressed to the residents of the 55 municipalities of the Małopolska Region and will be organized from May 13 to 17, 2019. The meetings will be an opportunity to discuss topics such as: whether the provisions (anti-smog resolutions for Małopolska and Krakow) have meaning, do they bring tangible benefits to people, how proper implementation of such resolutions should look like, how citizens can be convinced that a new law is necessary and will bring many benefits.
