Access to justice in environmental matters: obstacles, impacts and ways forward

Improving the possibilities for the public to challenge environmental law-breaking in court – or access to justice - is crucial to fight biodiversity loss and climate change. In this conference, lawyers, judges, NGOs and public authorities from all over Europe gather to share experiences, best practices and hurdles on access to justice in environmental matters, with a focus on some notorious legal cases for the protection of biodiversity and fight against climate change.
