10th Baltic Housing Conference

To take stock of current progress in Baltic housing and living environment, the conference gathers a select group of representatives of key stakeholders: state authorities, financial institutions, service providers and housing associations. Incorporating a wide range of perspectives, the conference looks in more detail at innovation in multi-family housing, including solutions on energy efficiency and environmental policies – the challenge but also a great potential for further development of housing in the region. Best practices and common problems of Baltic region on sustainable energy and environment resources in housing sector are introduced and discussed. EU environmental laws are part of the discussion topics of the conference and views in more detail in the presentation of Andres Jaadla, member of CoR.

Summary:

10th Baltic Housing Conference took place in Tallinn on April 17 2019 entitled innovation in housing. More than 120 representatives of key stakeholders: state authorities, financial institutions, service providers and housing associations discussed a wide range of perspectives of common problems of Baltic region on sustainable energy and environment resources in housing sector.
